Looking for a Compost Pail?

That's worthy of leaving on your counter top? I have been on the hunt for some time now, but the search is over. My mom sent me a link to this one from Crate and Barrel. It has an odor-absorbing filter, it's good-sized (but not so big that it'll take up your whole counter width) and you can throw it in your dishwasher.

Why yes, thank you! I will be ordering one of these post haste. The only problem may be that it looks almost exactly like the dog treat can we keep on the counter! I think we can keep them straight though.

OOOH. This is amazing! i so need one of these. right now our scraps go into an old tupperware on the counter which is really just a fruit fly breeding center. gross, i know. but i haven't found anything else. until now!
