  1. Shredded chipotle beef tacos? oh my---that sounds SO good. i'm all for tossing stuff into the slow cooker and having it come out 8 hours later, perfectly flavoured and tender! it's sort of like a time-delayed magic trick...

And your monday meal planning posts have completely inspired me to get my act in gear this year and do more advance planning for what i cook. tonight is morrocan chicken with rice pilaf...and I even made the pilaf in advance!

  2. I agree - the chipotle beef tacos sound great and the fact that they are in the slow cooker even better. Any chance you want to share that recipe?

  3. Where do you get the chili's for the Potato stew? That looks really yummy and perfect winter comfort food.

  4. NSMOM: My mom just puts a chuck roast and a can of chipotle chiles with the adobo sauce on top in the slow cooker all day (she sometimes adds canned pinto beans or onions too)...hardly a recipe, but so good! Shredded, melty, saucy meat.

Jennifer Ann: You can get the annatto seeds in the section of your supermarket that has all those bags of Mexican know the area I'm talking about?

  5. I just wanted to chime in here that your meal planning mondays are SO inspiring! i'm totally turning over a new leaf this year and planning more in advance.

  6. I've spent all day doing a meal planning year of all the recipes I want to try. :) I might post my list, although it could be a bit overkill.
