Yes, I know. I see everything months, years, decades after all of you. But I finally saw this movie the other night, and all I can say is love, love and EVEN MORE LOVE. Woody Allen has always been near and dear to my heart -- one of my all-time favorites -- but the fact that he can still put out something fresh, modern and exciting at the age of what... 73? Impressive. Get the movie if you haven't seen it. Netflix has it.

  1. I can't wait to see it, and am glad to hear you loved it. I was pleased as punch to see Ms. Cruz win her award last night. She looked so beautiful too.

  2. i just recently saw this with my two best friends and felt the same way. everything about the film - the acting, the brunette's hair, the dining late at night outdoors, the music...ahhh.

  3. I love, love, love this film. Penelope is just perfection and it wasn't until I saw her in this film that I understood just how talented she truly is. She SO deserved her Oscar. And even though Scarlett irks me beyond belief, I have to say that the fact that Penelope outshines her here makes seeing her a little easier to bear.

Oh, and Rebecca Hall and Javier Bardem were fantastic.

  9. Sitting at the top of our Netflix queue. Perhaps we will see it some time in early 2010? I would be willing to bet that we are bigger movie losers than you and we don't even have kids for an excuse.

But i do want to see this movie. i do.
