I do apologize for the complete lack of non-baby related posts, but it's all I have right now. Went to the doctor today, everything looks good (I was worried the baby had flipped into a breech position, but not so...whew), and no signs that the baby's arrival is imminent. Although I can't help but think this could be my last belly shot.
One more thing: So. Over. This. Heat. I want a
fall baby, not a sweltering Southern California heat wave baby!!
September is the worst. (And remember last year? It was still sweltering in October. UGH.)
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic, though!
My son came at 38 weeks! I definitely didn't look as great as you though. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I HEAR you about the heat. Being that pregnant in this heat is miserable (albeit blessed). I remember the summer I was pregnant with Em. We had no A/C.
ReplyDeleteI vowed to never carry a third trimester pregnancy in the summer. So far, so good. Stay cool.
Oh I know what you mean, my second son J was born in the middle of January (hottest month in Australia) and it was a particularly hot 38-42C (sorry dodn't know what that is in Farenheit)January. It was horrible, and then the breastfeeding in that hot, humid weather. Disgusting.
ReplyDeleteHope your "indian summer" doesn't last too much longer for you. You look great.
Engracia
You still are one of the most beautiful pregnant ladies I've seen. And oh yes I commiserate with you - my girl was born in a hot hot October in the Pacific NW.
ReplyDeleteYou look great! I was SO uncomfortable carrying at 38 weeks, I think I looked more tired than glowing like you! :)
ReplyDeletelabor in the pool is all i have to say!
