Well, It's About Time

I have been meaning and meaning to start this blog for more than a year now. But...I guess life has gotten in the way. I wanted to start this as a place to organize my ideas, chronicle my life and keep in touch with the people I wish I could spend more time with. This blog will be a smattering of many topics, mostly having a domestic connection.....for that is where I spend my time and energy these days, at home with my two kids. But also, I wanted to start this blog as a way to connect to the outside world.

Rainy days, moody music, warm drinks, picking fruit from a tree, turquoise water, baking, sharing meals with friends, most everything “old world,” simple, rustic, smart, funny, really hot baths, feeling connected, being pregnant, finding the perfect gift, smelling the tops of my kids’ heads, cacti + succulents, citrus, California light, guest houses, stinky cheeses, everything my grandmother baked, hearing my kids laugh, small world connections, smiles between strangers, snuggling, reading cookbooks, modern, Mediterranean, walks in the forest, being near the ocean, everything about the desert, gold, jeans, Lillet Blanc, natural childbirth, the beginning of a new season, snail mail, hearing someone’s story, people who reveal themselves…
