Harvesting Honey.

July 29, 2010

Folks, we (OK, B and the two older kids) harvested our first bits of honey yesterday. I hope to show you some much better photos of the whole family eating honeycomb very soon (they are super cute!), but these will have to suffice for now. {straining the honey through cheesecloth...see the bit of honeycomb in there?}

  11. Jora- How exciting!! The honey post is one of the first that I read of your blog posts and it's what drew my attention since Ryan totally wants to do the same in the future!

    Don't you love projects that they manage, but you get to benefit from the results?? Ryan makes super homemade ice cream and I keep thinking... "I" need to do a post about "our" ice cream!!
