I am so, so, so glad
JuJu got a sister. Not that there's anything wrong with brothers. There's just something about sisters, you know?

Also, I am so, so, so glad I got another girl. I hadn't realized this until I looked down and saw Little E for the first time. I thought I was fine with either. And I would have been. But there's something about a girl, you know? (I don't mean to rub this in, as a couple of friends right now are really hoping for a girl next time around....Hi
Mel! Sending pink thoughts your way!)

This post just made me cry and I'm not a weeper! Partly because your girls are so lovely and your happiness is contagious - but mostly because I have been blessed with the best sisters in the world and I wish everyone could experience that kind of love and support. And the laughs - man, there is nothing like the way your sisters can make you laugh! Lucky JuJu for the fun ahead with E!
ReplyDeleteJujee! I miss my buddy. Little E is already looking more baby and less newborn. Sigh....
ReplyDeleteThese photos are so precious. Juju already looks smitten with her baby sister.
ReplyDeletePhoto 2 and 4 absolutely melt my heart.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love these... I never had a sister. Looks pretty magical!
ReplyDeleteI agree! We are expecting baby girl #3 in a few months and I would have been happy with either boy or girl each time, but each time they said girl a sweet special smile came across my and my husband's face. There is something about little girls!!
ReplyDeleteYour two little beauties are so adorable!
They are both absolutely adorable. I can't imagine life without sisters! I'm expecting my 2nd child in May and am soooo hoping for a girl this time around! Can't wait to read your birth story too, btw.
ReplyDeleteNo! Rub it in, because either way (I find out in a couple of weeks) girls are AWESOME!! (especially when they turn out as cute as yours do) I adore these pictures, and your post as it fills me with hope and love. Hope for having a girl and love for all of my girlfriends!
ReplyDeleteyeah girls! i am loving these photos - just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Jora, I am a mum to the most beautiful, cutest boys in the world. They are 20 months apart and absolutely adore each other, they hug and kiss each other every day. I had wanted girls as I grew up with 2 sisters and loved the friendship and girly relationship we had. I would have loved to have seen that in my little family, but have found instead that even amongst all the wrestling that my boys engage in, they too have a bond which I can see mirrors the one I had with my sisters. Still if we had gone for a 3rd (we can't unfortunately) I desperately would have wished for a girl!!
ReplyDeleteCheers

These photos are just so sweet. What a lovely family!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! These pictures are so sweet! I love my sister and deeply cherish our friendship.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree-my sister is and always has been my best friend-nothing comes close :)
ReplyDeleteYour right there is something very special about the bond between sisters. Your daughters are adorable!
ReplyDeleteIt's true. Sisters are the best.
ReplyDeleteI agree! When I was preggers (with twins) we decided NOT to find out the genders before the big delivery. All I really wanted were 2 healthy babies. But... when I heard "it's a girl!" and "it's a girl!" I was beside myself with joy! My sisters and I are very close and I'm blessed to have two little girls who are crazy about each other! Sisterly Love, indeed!
ReplyDelete3 boys here. I had hoped for a girl, but I'm so happy with my boys.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are to die for. So beautiful!
I love my own two sisters dearly, so I know what you mean. Your girls are lovely. I hope they will be good friends as the years go by.
ReplyDeletejbhat
oh my gosh...that last photo of your eldest daughter is so beautiful. I adore my sister's and think that same-sex siblings are always nice to have.
ReplyDeleteDying, dying, I am seriously dying. Love these girls.
ReplyDeleteBoys are fantastic and I am thrilled that I have one, but I really do hope that when #3 comes along someday that I have a girl. There is just something about that sister bond. Might make for some rough teenage years, but now that I am an adult I wouldn't trade my baby sister for anything!
