i'm baaaaaaaack!

July 11, 2011

Well hello there!  We are back.  We made it.  We had many adventures.  Many unforgettable times.  Some hardships along the way too (hello tiny kids and major time change!).  Many, many good times with friends.  Lots of family bonding too.

But where to start here?  I'm no good at the "summary" post.....it's just too overwhelming!  I will say that this summer was better than last, that our kids are turning into excellent travelers and truly enjoyable people to be around.

As I begin to wade my way through the mountains of photos I took, here are a few from the beginning of the trip.
{i took this the morning we woke up in our house in cap d'ail....i never tired of this view!}
{at plage mala....um, is my baby turning into a big girl or what?!}

{c-man, thinking, watching, soaking it all in}
{one of our first nights in france....a little seaside walk and playtime in the tide pools}
I will be back with more (hopefully) very soon!

  14. Your pictures are stunning, can't wait to hear a little more about your adventures. We're planning a long trip there right now for next summer so I might need to ask a little advice on where's the place to stay for a month with kids!

  17. I second Blake's comment. All your kids are just amazing to look at, and apparently, to be around! You are blessed and lucky.

    Tell us about the food!

  18. Welcome back, Jora!

    When you find time to unpack your trip for us, could you please speak about the duration of the trip for your children. Did you plan enough time in each locale, that kind of thing.

    Thanks! Dee Dee

  19. So lovely! I'm a long time reader, but infrequent commenter, and I love that you love France so much. I used to live in Monaco and spent many a night in Eze and Cap D'Ail, where my best friend lived. I'm now in Toronto and she's back in England, but we re-hash our French adventures all the time!
