I haven't felt like much of a blogger this week (and a lot of other things I'm used to doing). But. I think I am pulling out of this funk....and hopefully ditching this cough and sore throat for good. It helped going to the doctor's this morning and getting to hear the baby's heartbeat. The baby is a crazy mover and shaker. You can already see the movements across my belly, which my doctor tells me is early for that sort of thing. It also helped finally seeing
Juno. (Don't be surprised. You know I see everything late.) The birth scene with
Cat Power singing Sea of Love? Yeah, that had me sobbing as bad as I think I did in Old
Yeller when I was 7 years old.

Oh, and C-Man is showing more interest. I think because the belly is finally hard to miss.
You look great :-)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Italy
Lovelly!!
ReplyDeleteDoh! I thought for a millisecond you were naming the baby Juno. See, I see stuff so late (or not at all) that I forgot that was a movie. :D Glad you're feeling a smidge better -- love that top.
ReplyDeleteYou are the cutest pregnant person - little white jeans looking totally skinny with just the cutest baby bump, ha? It makes those of us (that would be me) who are experiencing pregnancy as huge, swollen balloons feel quite inferior!
ReplyDeleteLove that cute little face staring out from the bottom of the mirror.
ReplyDeleteI MISS seeing your little belly! Thanks for the post and maybe I can steal a good luck Buddha rub in person! (annoying I know, but I hope you indulge me!!) BTW-my sis-in-law found out what she's having. (think pink) I'm so excited :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are feeling better. Summr colds - no fun at all!
ReplyDeleteYou make pregnancy so stylish! Very cute pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love your sweet pictures and still am so sad that we couldn't hook up. I'll cross my fingers that you will feel like a coffee if we can make it back next month.
ReplyDeleteI sobbed too during Juno. So sweet and poignant.
I just recently found your blog and I love it! You have an adorable little baby bump! Can't wait to continue reading!
ReplyDeletefyi - you look better at 24 weeks then i have ever looked. i have always despised women like you but you're just so nice...
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute picture! When I'd lift up my shirt to let my little 2 year old guy feel the baby move, he'd feel for a minute and then say, "ok Mommy, can you close your shirt now?"
ReplyDeleteHey Mama! I love your blog, but I've never commented on it before. You haven't posted in awhile, and I'm sure it's just because you've been busy, but I just wanted to say that I hope everything is going well with you and your adorable little family!
ReplyDeleteHey Jora, just dropped in to say hellooo... been missing your dispatches from the land of style and fun :) Hope you're feeling well.
ReplyDeleteI always read your blog and am missing your posts :( Hope you're well and looking after yourself!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved your blog and have been stopping by to see the latest posts but noticed you haven't been on in a while....I hope you are feeling well and all is good. :)
ReplyDeleteThis has to be one of my favourite blogs but sadly I have noticed you haven't posted anything lately. I keep checking daily, but no new updates - hopefully you're slowly getting out of your self-proclaimed funk and be inspired to see how many people want to see you back again. Hope all is well and looking forward to seeing a new post soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well too. Hang in there!
ReplyDeletejbhat
A blog fan thinking of you and hoping you are doing well. :)
ReplyDeleteAdding my voice to the chorus - you are missed! Personally, if I ever started a blog, I think I would manage to update it on an annual basis. Hope you're enjoying a beautiful summer!
ReplyDeleteDitto what others said - miss your posts, but understand that life gets in the way. Hope you're feeling better, and the kiddos are well.

ReplyDeleteisn't it crazy how people from the world over can grow to care for someone we have never met through the words and photos in a blog? without seeming "stalkerish," i, too, wanted to express dismay in your absence and let you know that you were an inspiration in starting my own blog and helping me to feel like you can be a stylish and smart stay at home mom. hope everything is well. best wishes from brazil!
ReplyDeleteI am going to chime in as well. I've missed reading your posts. Not sure what is causing your absence but whatever it may be, know that you are in my thoughts.
