Sorry, I know I just lost the one dude reader out there, but I couldn't resist sharing this amazing convertible dress. (Hopefully on to other subjects tomorrow....) p.s. Leigh, will you pick me up one at the sample sale??
ok that is so cool. never seen it before... and have the sneaky feeling it wouldn't look very good on me in any of it's forms. But I am loving the second Greek style version. Are you just totally lusting after a non-pregnant body for summer???
I just posted a recipe for making homemade spirited cherries for a photo shoot we are doing at the NYC Ballet in Saratoga next month. I think this dress would look so gorgeous in the photo shoot. I love it!!
American Apparel has a ton of convertable dresses/rompers/etc. that I live in for the summer. Their fabric really holds up to the strain of being ties/twisted/stretched. I have made my own using lighter fabrics, only to have them strechout, pile or warp. Light fabric falls nicely, but for this kind of wear something sturdier would do better. Just my 2p.
I was just oogling these yesterday. I like the short stripey ones!

ReplyDeleteIf I end up going I totally will, Jora! Aren't they amazing?!?
ReplyDeleteI love convertible ANYTHINGS! Makes for easy changes. You can just go to the bathroom and totally change your dress during dinner! :)
ReplyDeletethis would be so great for traveling. it becomes a new dress every day!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, but I would definitely need an instruction manual. Scarves still confound me.
ReplyDeletelove this, but I'm sorry - I refuse to believe one dress can fit size 2 to 16 - what about length???
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! But I hesitate on the cost, even if it is technically the price of 7 dresses.
