Cousin Casey nailed it this morning. Jane Birkin is/was a style genius. I do believe if there ever was a single fashion icon for me, it would be Miss Birkin. Although there is no shortage of images her showing her perfect, pared down, South of France style, my favorites are the ones of her with her kids (she has three daughters). Here are a few. ReplyDeleteShe is gorgeous, and her style is perfect!! But, what is up with that last photo of her in tiny cut-off shorts holding a very young baby? How can anyone have thighs that small right after giving birth? Unbelievable. Doesn't seem too healthy, although some people are just like that so I won't jump to assumptions :)

ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful. I think she is just genetically skinny. I am 5.8 and weight 120 pounds. My weight is the same for the last 10 years even after the pregnancy. And I have healthy eating habits. All my family members are skinny. I wanted to put some extra pound so badly but no luck. I think she is just the same type. Her daughters are skinny as well.

She's still stylish even though she's older than my Mum. I met her and her daughter in Paris 9 years ago (one of my friends was Charlotte's and Yvan's children's Nanny) and though they were both so stylish. Charlotte's son is a stylish little man too.
