I think I may have squealed out loud when I read that Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy just finished shooting the second sequel to Before Sunrise in Greece this summer. I love love love those movies. B and I watched Before Sunset in the early stages of my labor with C-Man (before things got tough HA!). There is something so compelling to me about a story that checks in with two people every 9 years...don't you think? This time they will be in their early '40s. Love it.

The locations of all three films have been fantastic. The first movie was set in Vienna and the second in Paris......but this one in Greece? Be still my beating heart.

Oh I remember this film! My husband and I enjoy watching this while I'm cuddling with my 3rd child fall to sleep. He's only 3 years old then and now he's 10! Glad to know that they will do another film. Looking forward to watch this. Thanks for the info.:)

I used to LOVE Ethan Hawke, and Before Sunrise is one of my favorite films. I probably still love EH, but haven't seen him in much lately. Julie Delpy is a breath of fresh, french air. (Did you see her in Europa, Europa?) Thanks for sharing this update!

Josh and I saw the first one at Sundance and loooved it. I'm so excited to see it. I knew you were a fan and I have been literally meaning to tell you that they had wrapped for at least a month now. I'm a bad friend :(

Jora, I'm not exaggerating when I say you just made my weekend (and my husband's weekend when I tell him)! Before Sunset and Before Sunrise have a special place in our hearts and in our relationship...I can't wait to tell him!!

oh man... once again... where have i been?????? okay, i just checked and of course - these (both) fall into my late 90's/early 00's movie gap... my finishing college/new baby/moving up the corporate ladder mode/too busy to experience CULTURE of any sort ;).

so, i will now be watching the first 2 (thanks to you!! love when you do movie posts!!)... so that i can be fully prepared for the 3rd. LOVE this concept!
